KRAV MAGA INSTRUCTOR COURSE – ISRAELI SURVIVAL SYSTEM (IKMO)
Duration: 4 modules – Total 40 hours of training + final exam
PURPOSE
To train certified instructors according to the realistic, direct, and adaptive method of the Israeli Survival System, in line with the IKMO standards of GM Marco Morabito.
- STRUCTURE:
Modules: 4 (1 weekend per month)
Total hours: 40 hours (excluding exam)
Attendance: Saturday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Location: Genova Academy A.S.D., Corso A. Saffi 46R – Genoa
TECHNICAL PROGRAM (4 MODULES)
- MODULE 1 – FUNDAMENTALS & OPERATIONAL PRINCIPLES
Philosophy of the Israeli Survival System
Principles of survival, stress, and immediate response
Positions, guards, basic strikes (punches, elbow strikes, kicks, knee strikes)
Movements, balance, and use of the environment
Reaction under attack and defense against simple holds
- MODULE 2 – DEFENSE AGAINST PHYSICAL ATTACKS
Defense against chokes and dynamic holds (from behind, block, on the ground)
Management of multiple attacks and threats Sudden attacks
Interposition techniques, line breaking, and counterattack
Simulations in urban settings (stairs, closed spaces, walls)
Breathing and movement under stress
- MODULE 3 – EDGED WEAPONS AND FIREARMS
Knife defense in various directions and distances
Disarming gun threats (front, back, side)
Rapid reaction and neutralization with a pointed weapon
Armed attacks in confined spaces
Defense protocols in civilian, urban, and public contexts
- MODULE 4 – TEACHING, ETHICS, EXAMINATION
Level progression

Final technical and educational exam (individual assessment)
