Mario Belvedere begins the martial practice in 1976.
At first he came to the traditional martial arts and in the beginning he followed ju-jitsu and judo courses for some years and he had excellent learning and practising results in these disciplines. He began the study of Karate Shotokan style, that excited him and finally got black belt 2° DAN. Continuing the Karate practising, he became trainer- coach and then instructor.
He followed Indonesian Silat courses, where he studied the aspects concerning self-defence with armed and bare hands. Feeling the need for searching effective self-defence systems, he took part in different training seminars and masters, that talked about disciplines such as Jeet Kune Do, Krav Maga and Russian Martial Arts Systema, with the different school heads of martial sectors. After some studies and seminars he became Expert Instructor Krav Maga, technical expert and Sambo observant.
He is instructor of Russian Martial Arts ”Systema”, directly trained and qualified by Vadim Starov, teacher of seminars dedicated to hand-to-hand combat techniques and systems related to bio-mechanics of the person.
Currently he is National Technical Coordinator of I.K.M.O. International Krav Maga Organization- Instructor University.
